A Highland Craft

Just a wee post to show you another Highland skill / craft that you might not be familiar with.  We get questions from guests on the tours about the walls they see dividing the fields.

They are "dry-stane dykes", made with stacked stone and no cement or binding.  I've been making a raised border in our garden over the last few days and I thought you might like the pic.  Here endeth the cross-cultural lesson.  See you all in May, July and September.  Bring your work clothes and a hammer - I have more garden projects for you.
